One of our more unusual requests this ornate structure complete with clock tower was built to replace an existing pavilion. The style was inspired by features from the main house.
The tennis pavilion is built onto a decked area which is accessed by steps to the front and allows for the creation of a large veranda to the front; the perfect spot to sit and relax.
The inclusion of three gable ends in the roof provides the main style element of the pavilion and gives the opportunity for the inclusion of wooden detail over the veranda which mirrors the ornate stone work of the main house.
The balustrade spindles and scalloped facia board complement the decorative detail of the posts supporting the veranda
Double doors to the front and 4 full height windows allow light and ventilation into the structure. The door and windows are double glazed and both walls and roof are insulated and then clad with pine to ensure the pavilion maintains a temperate feel all year round.
The addition of a square window in the rear left hand corner allows more light into the pavilion.
Externally the roof is finished with slate effect tiles. The clock tower fitted in the centre of the roof can accommodate a clock of 2ft. diameter.
The door and window furniture is brass.

Roof Options
- The Posh Shed Company offer 3 different roof options:
Felt shingles – These are a very attractive alternative to the standard type of mineral felt. An initial layer of waterproof membrane is fitted and then a top layer of felt shingles. These are cut strips of mineral felt which when in situ give the impression of being tiles.
Wooden cedar shingles – Wooden tiles which when new are all the beautiful colours of orange and red that come with natural cedar wood. After a few months they will turn to a silver grey colour which whilst darker when wet, will stay for the decades that they provide a completely weather proof top to your garden Shed. As cedar is a living wood the individual tiles will move and can give the appearance of warping, this is totally natural effect of the wood. An initial layer of waterproof membrane is fitted and then a top layer of cedar shingles.
Man-made slate tiles – These are man-made slate composite tiles. They are the same tiles as used on houses and look like natural slate. They are a little more uniform than the natural alternative . An initial layer of waterproof membrane is fitted and then each tile is attached individually and will last for decades without maintenance.
