What is PayPal Credit?

PayPal describe PayPal Credit as a credit card, without the plastic. It will attach a credit limit to your PayPal account which you can use for online purchases. The best bit? Spend over £99 and PayPal will give you 4 months at 0% on that purchase. Once you’ve applied for PayPal Credit, you can use it again and again on any other purchases over £99 in many online stores – within your credit limit.

It takes just minutes to fill in the short form online.

Please note that the minimum payment due still applies to 0% offer balances. Any remaining balance due after the 4-month period or any transactions under £99 will be charged at the standard variable rate. Representative 23.9% APR (variable).

We understand that, for larger purchases you may prefer to spread the finance payments over a longer period of time. Therefore, we offer you the following PayPal Credit options on orders over £500:

12 months with Interest Free Credit
18 months credit at 5.9% APR
24 months credit at 9.9% APR
36 months credit at 14.9% APR

Please note that a minimum monthly payment will be set. Any late payments or payment failure will incur charges as laid out by the finance credit agreement.

I don't have a Paypal account.

You will require a PayPal account to use PayPal Credit. If you do not have a PayPal account, head to www.paypal.com where you can quickly and easily set up your account. It’s completely free and secure. Then follow the instructions below.

I have a Paypal account but haven't used Paypal Credit before.

When you have added your products to the site’s basket, select Proceed to Checkout to fill in your personal details and review your order. When this is complete, you will select the Continue button which will take you to the payment page.

Here you will find two tabs: Credit/Debit Card and PayPal. Choose the PayPal tab. You will be redirected to the PayPal website where you will need to log in to PayPal as usual.

Once logged into PayPal, you will need to opt for PayPal Credit. Paypal will guide your through the simple, short application process. Don’t worry. You just do this once and then you can use PayPal credit in lots of different online stores without reapplying (up to your credit limit, of course).

Within minutes, PayPal will let you know if you have been accepted and you can pay using your new PayPal Credit.

I have a Paypal account and already have an existing Paypal Credit agreement.
