Brr-rr! winter is on the horizon with December now upon us. Towns and cities are buzzing with shoppers caught up in the Christmas rush whilst the fairy lights and Christmas decorations are beaming above them. It’s that time of year again where you decorate me with lights to keep me well lit and notice throughout this festive time of year.
Winter is all about the mince pies and mulled wine in front of an open roaring fire. That’s why here at The Posh Shed Company we provide you with some luxurious log stores available in a range of colours from a sadolin superdec and classic ranges. These Posh log stores give you a perfect excuse to stock up on logs and keep warm throughout the Christmas season.
If you are stuck for a Christmas present for your partner look no further as we now have Posh Bird Boxes for sale, £35 include postage and packing in a selection of colours. This bird box will help keep the burrowing birds warm and safe this winter with an adjustable lid as well you will be able to put food and bedding down for the appreciative chirpy birds and their offspring. But hurry, I have already brought Mrs Shed hers, you don’t want to miss out on this great new festive product.
We sheds can be enjoyed all year round and especially in the winter season ours. Make sure you make the most of the light hours by working in the shed and out of the sharp wintry wind. Don’t worry about us getting cold this Christmas, we have a unique triple protection of plywood, waterproof membrane and TGV it’s almost as warm as those matching Christmas jumpers that Grandma knits.

Phew.. That seemed to come and go in a flash! We ll be whizzing towards the festive season before we can say mince pie at this rate! Although I personally love this time of year, us Posh Sheds come into our own, great for storage, sheltering bulbs and pots and generally looking still gorgeous (after the last flowers have gone).
I think there’s a lot to be said for chilly walks, cosy nights and a log fire which brings me nicely on to a smaller relation of mine – the Posh Log Stores
These little chaps come in a two styles and your choice of colour. Perfect for keeping 1m3 of logs in order and in style! They also make a great early winter gift – not for any reason –just because!

Hello everyone, what a wonderful summer it’s been! We had record temperatures; Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower shows, Andy Murray -Wimbledon Champion, The Rolling Stones headlining the most successful Glastonbury ever (as quoted by organiser John Alvis) and not forgetting a new Royal Prince George!
Phew, hardly surprising that the summer has whizzed by in the blink of an eye. I did manage to be involved in a few BBQs and garden parties; the bunting was out and the Pimms was flowing. My tough interior, lockable door and specialised waterproof system meant that I kept all deck chairs, lawn mowers, BBQ’s and bikes safe and sound and ready for the next time!
It’s looking like the time to put away the garden furniture maybe on the horizon, where better to lock your favourite items away than a Posh Shed? What else would you keep in yours?

Hello again, so who did go to the amazing RHS Chelsea Flower Show in the end? I had a great time and had lots of lovely visitors who were all very complimentary so thank you for that. Unfortunately I didn't see the Queen but there's always next year! On that note a late Happy Birthday to Prince Phillip. We had some absolutely gorgeous weather, needless to say the rain has quickly followed but I think I did get a bit of a tan you know. Just hoping the sun comes back out for Wimbledon which is fast approaching. Any tennis fans out there, what with it being the French open at the moment as well I'm sure there's lots of people picking up their tennis rackets to have a little go. I'd be very good at looking after tennis rackets, my well built floor, walls and roof could guarantee to keep them dry and safe. Our very own Andy Murray just missed out on the Wimbledon title last year so lets hope he can clinch it this year, lots of Posh Shed luck to him.
So what else has been going on with everyone? Lots of exciting summer plans coming together I hope. I look forward to hearing about them.

Hello again, I'm a very excited little shed this week as I've been getting ready for a little outing.
Last summer I enjoyed a lovely little trip to The Southport Flower show and now this week I am making sure I look my best to go to The RHS Chelsea Flower show. This year it is extra special as the show celebrates its centenary and to mark the event there is going to be a display of 100 years in pictures. Maybe I will see some fellow sheds as they were over the past 100 years. As well as this I can’t wait to see the line up of amazing gardens, plants and all the other things exhibitors bring. Everyone and everything will certainly be looking their best so i must make sure I do too. I'll have my windows shined, my brass polished and my paint crisp. After all with totality attending the show, i'll have to loof fit for the Queen. With the show being the biggest flower show, it takes 25 days to set up the show. Now I can’t say I’ve been getting ready for quite that long but I certainly am enjoying the excitement of the build up to my outing. If any of you are going to the show do come and say hello to me, I am proudly supporting Martin Cooke Studio with his beautiful 'The Mindfulness Garden' stand FR6. I hope you enjoy yourselves.

Hello, how has everyone been doing? So has anyone been inspired by the London marathon this week and picked up their running shoes? Or maybe some of you ran it, what a great atmosphere there appeared to be, some of my shed friends live in London and I'm sure they enjoyed the hustle and bustle of it all. Maybe I should look into a shed marathon. Do you think Mo Farah would help with the training?! Big well done to any of you who did run this year though.
This week has also been exciting for another reason in my little garden, I know us sheds love to talk about the weather but lets face it, I am british and us brits do love a good weather discussion. But yes, the sun coming out meant my owners had their first BBQ of the year this week, why not aye! I look after their BBQ for them and they came and wheeled it out and got those burgers and bangers cooking. I'm sure it was the first of many, it certainly smelt great, hope they save me a sausage next time. Anyone else had their BBQs out?

Hello to you all, sorry its been so long, seem to have been very busy eating lots of Easter eggs. I'm sure a few of you can relate. You know it was very exciting in my garden last weekend, I had a visitor from the one and only easter bunny placing lots of eggs for the children to find. Oh and didn't they have a great time searching for them, with a little bit of help from the adults and their added height, the children even managed to find the eggs balancing on my roof. I think my interconnecting wall tricked them for a little while but they soon found their way through the door to the other side and more eggs. We were even lucky enough to get a little sunshine so we had my big double doors open so I got full benefits of the weather. I do hope this little bit of sunshine stays, although I am in england so best not get my guttering in a twist over it.
How are you all enjoying our longer days? I'd love to hear what you've been doing with the extra daylight hours. Do feel free to let me know what you or your sheds have been up to.

Hope you are all ok and keeping wrapped up warm in this cold windy weather. I'm quite lucky as I stand up against the wall of my house so it shelters me from the wind a lot. Another thing I like about being up against my wall is that I get a sneaky peak at what's on television, recently I've seen lots of glamorous dresses what with it being The Brits and The Oscars
I Like my jungle green walls a lot but I think i'd need a few more sparkles to compete with those dresses. Do you think sparkles would suit me?
So what else has been going on? Anyone retiring soon like Pope Benedict, I wonder if The Pope has a lovely garden shed like me? My gothic style windows aren't too dissimilar to some of the shapes found at The Vatican. I know I certainly won't be retiring any time soon, there's years and years left in me yet, shame the Pope doesn't come with a guarantee aye.
Well I best get back to practise my poses, just in case even with no sparkles, I get an invite to the Oscars next year. Speak to you all soon.

Hello to you all. Well I don't know about you but I can't believe we are in February already. Who's been working hard at the gym burning off all that christmas turkey? No? Me neither! Hope 2013 is treating you well so far. Having said that how many of you have been snowed under or washed away. I feel like I,ve had all 4 seasons in the past week in my garden. Went from blue skies to snow to wind and rain to sunshine. Who knows what we'll get tomorrow. I did get rather chilly in my garden in the snow but luckily I'm well insulated so I was ok. My lovely winter ice walls did nearly make me camouflaged though. My garden looks out over a big hill where there was lots of people sledging and making snowmen which was fun to watch. Although I've got to say the children won on the sledging races hands down, come on adults!
As much as I enjoy the wintery scenes I am noticing that the days are very slowing starting to get a little bit longer. This is good for me as it means I will have more people keeping me company in my garden. Before that though there's pancake day. I hope I get one, ok two. Well you all better start thinking about what your going to give up for lent and I'll look forward to hearing about it.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a very merry christmas and saw the new year in with a drink in hand. I know my owners certainly did, I had to look after all their crates and now they are ALL gone. I'm very lucky as my garden is in London not far from the Thames river so I watched the amazing fireworks at midnight, my owners came outside with me and we all watched together. It was lovely, did any of you see the fireworks, maybe you watched them on the television? Not only did I have a lovely new year but I was very lucky at christmas too, I certainly have been a very good shed as I got a great new tool rack from santa. Now I can keep my owners tools especially tidy. What did you get, I hope santa was kind.
As fun as it was, the festive season always goes so quickly doesn't it, I imagine a lot of you will be back to work now, try and squeeze a bit of January sale shopping in though :) After all, everyone loves a bargain, do let me know what your best bargains are!
Well I best go now, need to do my shed exercises to burn off a few of those mince pies. I will write again soon.
