Proud To Be Behind Posh Sheds

Pioneers of Posh
We are very pleased to welcome you to The Posh Shed Company. Richard follows in a family line of carpenters so when 20 years or so ago we needed a shed of course his inclination was to build one himself. Naturally, he took a look at others in the market and was staggered to find how they were still every bit as rickety as the common association with the word ‘shed’. By the time Richard emerged he was stepping out of his vision of what a shed really should be. Quality tanalised wood (well it does live outdoors). 3 ply timber insulation. Hinges and ironmongery that wouldn’t feel out of place in the home. And then there was the way it looked. Elegant lines and nice detailed touches. If he could do this for himself he could do it for others. The Posh Shed Company was born, and whilst others have tried to steal our clothes (we’re flattered by their imitations) we still lead the way with uncompromising design, build and service.
Yes, we should mention service. You will be accompanied throughout your journey to a Posh Shed by Kay and her team. She’s adept at guiding customers to the right Posh Shed specification as well as flushing out those details which can seem insignificant but would otherwise put a spanner in the works.
Although Richard and Kay still have Posh sheds running through their veins, the business is fortunate to have the support of a talented and experienced office and production team, helping to extend our reputation for imaginative and high quality products.
We are not a global corporation, just a team of craftsmen who enjoy working with the personality of wood in our Herefordshire workshops. There are probably a lot a robots that would enjoy doing this automatically, but we’ll resist for now. But we do have a level of scale which allows us to buy our materials, mainly locally, at fair prices. That’s enough about us. We hope to hear from you and would be delighted to tell you more about our Posh Sheds.

There’s something about a Posh Shed that makes it so much more than just a place to store the mower or hang up the clippers. Maybe it’s their good looks or just that they are clearly built for whatever the weather brings. Don’t be surprised to spend more time there than you may have envisaged.
