A Really Big Secret
Hello again, it’s The Posh Shed here and I’m so excited! Even though this is supposed to be a “Secret Diary”, I have to share this with you! But you can keep a really BIG secret, can’t you?
I was chatting to my new garden pal, The Richmond, a little more and it turns out that before they left the workshops they noticed the workshop and office were particularly busy. Apparently it’s so secret that everyone whispers about it. Do they not realise that wood walls have ears? I can exclusively reveal that there’s going to be a brand new Posh Shed launch! We think it will be in just one week’s time.
A Secret New Design
I can’t wait to see the new design as I am sure it will be something that will stand out from the crowd. The photoshoot has happened in a really beautiful location, so we have seen some images. Between us we managed to pull a few strings and get hold of some sneaky peeks to share with you.
Living Roof
We haven’t seen the full design yet. However I am thrilled to learn that it has a living roof! I know that green roofs appeal to so many people these days. The ability to create a natural habitat and reduce the impact of a garden building are very desirable. Cedar shingles cover the rest of the roof and I can see the great craftsmanship throughout, even in these cheeky snaps, a sure sign that this is indeed a Posh Shed. I love the beautiful full-length windows, and I’m not certain, but think I can just see a veranda of sorts making an appearance there.
Secret Insider Knowledge
Of course I have expert knowledge on certain things, given my own start in life. The new Shed has full insulation and double glazing – I can tell from the finish on the interior. That makes it just perfect for year-round use.
I wonder what its new owners will use it for. I spend most of my time storing garden tools, and I do it very well. But I know that these days some of my shed friends are branching out into more exciting careers, including working as home offices or hobby rooms. Some are even exclusively used for relaxing or entertaining!
From the glimpses I have seen of this new design, it looks like a wonderful place to connect with nature. I think that this is so important to everyone’s wellbeing, especially after the last few years. So much natural light will flood through those full-length windows, it will make a great space to work productively or be creative. It just looks so versatile!
The Big Launch Day
