A Posh New Year

Oh how I love a fresh Posh New Year! At last the days are getting a smidgen longer. It gives me a glimmer of hope that warmer days are just around the corner.
Winter Wonderland
I had this wonderful postcard from one of my Posh friends way up north in Scotland. Just look at the snow they’ve had! It looks lovely but brrrrrr, it made my bearers shiver just looking at it!
Luckily after this picture was taken, their thoughtful owner brushed off all the snow from their roof and from around their base to make sure that it doesn’t cause any problems.
I feel so happy when I hear that my friends have owners who take care of them, even in the midst of a cold snap. Of course it is so important to maintain our health and really doesn’t take very long at all.

Working from Home Again
Talking of owners, mine have been working from home again a lot due to something they called “Plan B”, and I just love having them around. Most days they come to see me in the garden for a breath of fresh air.
I heard them talking about their plans for the garden this year and I am so excited! I am going to be getting another shed friend! My owners are going to be working from home a lot more, so they have bought another Posh Shed to use as a garden office. This is such a great idea and will mean that they get to reclaim their dining table!
I can’t wait to meet my new friend – apparently their name is “The Richmond”. I am expecting to meet them in March, as I overheard my owners say that they have 10 to 12 weeks before delivery day.
Spring is of course a lovely time for a new shed to arrive in the garden. There will be a bit of activity between now and then as our owners are going to have a new concrete base installed, which is exactly like mine, I am so comfortable on my level base, my new friend will feel right at home on theirs!
Posh New Year Resolutions
Talking of home, I’ve been thinking about some ideas for gardeners to consider in 2022. Here are my top 5!

1. Grow your Own Veggies

2. Create a Wildlife Section

3. Harvest Rainwater

4. Install a Garden Office

5. Keep Your Garden Tools Clean
I’ll be writing about my progress as 2022 unfolds!
