Designed to look part of your garden

Once a reasonable level piece of ground has been provided the strong exterior grade plywood floor is laid. This floor sits on treated timbers and sandwiches a damp proof membrane which laps under the walls to prevent damp rising up. A common cause of rot in many sheds.

These have a unique triple protection which is sealed around all 4 walls. Starting with a strong but smooth internal framework a layer of plywood is fixed on to give a neat internal appearance and make the side extremely rigid. This is covered with waterproof membrane which is left long enough to lap over and seal the corners. This stops any water getting through the walls whether it's driving rain or constant drizzle. This method of construcion is unique to us.

Finally the shiplap is fixed on the outside and given 2 coats of Sadolin superdec paint (opaque) or Sadolin classic wood preservative (translucent) which will stay fresh looking for years. These paints are wipe clean and keep your posh shed looking great.

Again extra work and effort is put in at the building stage to ensure Posh Sheds will last for years. The exterior grade plywood roof panels are covered in 2 layers of waterproof membrane which lap over the ends and ridge to make a watertight seal. These are then topped with shingles in wood or felt. Shingles are just another type of tile but look great. The cedar shingles used on the Potting and Gothic sheds will last without maintenance for twenty years plus. The felt shingle used on the Contemporary Posh Shed will last for ten years without maintenance.

These are not stuck on afterthoughts on Posh Sheds. All our doors and windows are made in robust frames which form part of the sheds construction. Doors and where required windows, are hinged inset in the frame and when closed keep the water where in belongs, outside. All glazing is done with super tough polycarbonate sheet and all doors have 5 lever sash locks prefitted.
